Description

Objective:

To provide the Front Office with Reception Agent services and operational support, in order to service our guests according to Company standards while exceeding their expectations.


Responsibilities:


  • To provide and display excellent guest service skills, to Company standards.
  • To provide superior guest service upon checkin and checkout of each guest.
  • To respond to guest problems in a timely and professional manner, utilizing the empowerment process.
  • To answer telephones and respond to caller requests, inquiries.
  • To complete night shift task lists and audit reports.
  • To maintain rate and inventory levels.
  • To provide support to all Front Office areas.
  • To respond to guest concerns and solicit guest feedback.
  • To provide guest safety/security by ensuring confidentiality of guest information, handling guestroom keys and providing safety deposit boxes.
  • To maintain guest accounts.
  • To handle and operate cash as per Company policies and procedures.
  • To participate in the daily preshift meetings.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 year current Front Office experience in a 4 Star plus environment and/or related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel required
  • Knowledge of OnQ Hilton PMS would be an asset.
  • Serviceoriented with problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Professional detailoriented and works well in a fastpaced environment.
  • Hospitality Management diploma or degree preferred.
  • Additional language(s) an asset.
  • High school graduation diploma required.
  • Must have a valid Ontario G Driver's License.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts; days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Experience:

- front desk or guest service: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • ON G Driver's License (required)
