Description
We are seeking a dynamic Packaging Lead to join our team at AtlantiCann Medical Inc. (AMI), License Producer of Cannabis.

The Packaging Lead will assist the Packaging Manager in creating an effective team environment by facilitating the team during packaging.

The Packaging Lead is responsible for ensuring assigned packaging tasks are preformed according to Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) with efficiency.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in training and onboarding of new team members
  • Prep Packaging Stations in the morning before the team arrive
  • Facilitate packaging activities by ensuring team members have the tools and product to perform their tasks efficiently
  • Visually inspect, identify, and address gaps during packaging process, consult the Packaging Manager if needed
  • Document records correctly and effectively
  • Adaptive, proactive, and demonstrate effective communication skills
  • Promote a safe working environment

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Team oriented
  • Reliable transportation
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
Familiar with excel and other Microsoft office suite programs


Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to work 7 days a week including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds
  • Able to bend, squat or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
  • Exposure to pollen, allergens, and chemicals in production
  • General office environment
  • Extended computer usage
  • Phone usage (teleconference)
Environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odours, extreme temperatures, heights, and water.
