As a
_Payroll Administrator _you'll have a fantastic opportunity to work with teams within multiple locations in Canada and USA.

You will be entrusted with a high level of responsibility and confidentiality.


About Salford

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist with payroll administration and act as payroll backup, as required.
  • Responsible for adjusting irregularities in pay
  • Responsible for distribution and/or direct deposit of payroll cheques
  • Verify accuracy of all relevant documents
  • Update attendance tracker for Ontario staff.
  • Benefits; enter / change information onto benefit sites for Canada & USA.
  • Assist HR and Finance with month end reports, creating and maintaining monthly manpower reports, create and distribute payroll reports, as required.
  • Support all team members with payroll related inquiries, as required.
  • Provide support in the form of general office duties i.e. bank runs, receptionist coverage etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 13 years of relevant experience is an asset, but not required
  • Must be able to work overtime or under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills interface with management, production workers, problem solving teams, engineering, inspection, shipping, and maintenance as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information received from the customer/company
  • Must be well organized and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Must practice safe work habits (housekeeping, hazard identification)
  • Must be able to demonstrated multitasking skills
  • Adhere to all company policies and practices
  • Familiar with manufacturing environment
