NAIT's Facilities Management and Development - Operations has a permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys a busy environment with a focus on organization and strong attention to detail to support the facilities contact centre (FCC).
The FCC is the first point of contact for all NAIT community members and visitors in relation to providing environmentally healthy, safe, and comfortable spaces in which to learn and work.
***Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Facilities Management and Development internal and external teams to complete maintenance orders and resolve facilities issues.
- Working with NAIT's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to create, manage, and close out work orders as related to maintenance, repairs, operations, and building user issues.
- Working with NAIT's CMMS and Access systems as related to issuing, modifying, and removing physical (keyed) and electronic access to campus and buildings.
- Supporting NAIT's purchasing solutions, in ensuring purchases are appropriate, compliant and accurate. Support the ordering of materials and goods for facilities maintenance and operations.
- Respond to NAIT community members and visitors regarding buildings and campus concerns
- Coordinating daily financial tasks and responsibilities as associated with Maintenance, Repair, and Operations activities within CMMS and other enterprise solutions.
- Maintain digital and hardcopy records as associated with Maintenance, Repair, and Operations
- Undertake other duties and special projects as required
- Other related duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience using a Key Manager Software for masterkey lock environment.
- Experience using an Electronic Access Control System.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management Software
- Experience in purchasing coordination and vendor relations
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade twelve
- Diploma in Business Administration is an asset
- Demonstrated experience with CMMS software is preferred
- Computer literacy, including extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite is an asset
- Related postsecondary certificate or diploma
- Several years of related experience
- Equivalencies may be considered
Remuneration:
$1, $2,138.51 biweekly, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support IV).
- This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
