Position Summary

Do you have a knack for building relationships with regular guests who might know you on a first-name basis? We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and guest service oriented Server to join our Food & Beverage team The successful applicant will be working mainly as a Cocktail server, delivering drinks to players on the gaming floor, but should expect to be scheduled in various roles in all outlets as needed.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing the VIP rock star experience for each and every one of our guests by taking orders, preparing drinks, greeting them by name and ensuring ultimate satisfaction
Assisting other Servers as necessary
Clearing tables, removing glasses and restocking if required
Taking guest orders and making recommendations
Handling payments by credit card, debit cards, chips and cash
Entering transactions into the Point of Sales system

Processing lottery transactions

Informing guests of any daily specials
Explaining how menu items and beverages are prepared
Presenting bills upon request and taking payments
Ensuring food is expedited in a timely manner
Restocking and replenishing areas as required
Covering other sections if required
Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performing other duties as assigned or directed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Legendary guest service skills with a "Make it Happen" attitude
Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests
A passion for providing Rockin' It Service to our internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence

General knowledge of alcoholic beverages
Serving It Right, Smart Serve or IGB certification, or the ability to obtain a Serving it Right Certification
Ability to carry a full tray of drinks across the gaming floor
The ability to stand for long periods of time
Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
Excellent multitasking skills
The ability to successfully obtain a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
