    About You

    You're a competitive, driven sales professional early in your career who thrives on hitting targets and uncovering high-quality opportunities. You're diligent in your research, persistent in your outreach, and thoughtful about finding the right leads—not just more leads. You bring strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and a hunger to continuously learn and grow in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. You take ownership of your work, collaborate well with Account Executives, and are motivated by improving your craft and delivering real pipeline impact.

    What you'll do and how you'll have an impact

    • Execute day-to-day prospecting (calls, emails, social outreach) to meet or exceed call, email and prospected-accounts targets.
    • Conduct discovery calls to qualify inbound and outbound leads; pass internal cold call / discovery call assessments.
    • Create and surface qualified opportunities (opportunity quota) for AEs and collaborate on next-step account engagement.
    • Research and profile target accounts; pass the research assessment and deliver research support for the SDR/AEs.
    • Use sales development tools (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Discover Org, etc.) to build, manage and scale outreach campaigns.
    • Collaborate with AEs to build tailored messaging for named accounts and coordinate handoffs.
    • Maintain accurate activity and opportunity data in the CRM and participate in QBRs and other cross-functional reviews.
    • Continuously learn AppDirect products, customer stories, and industry vertical value propositions.
    • Propose process and tool improvements; elevate blockers or dependencies as needed.

    What we're looking for

    • 1-2 years of experience exceeding quota in lead generation or sales development role
      • At a SaaS, Cloud, or telecommunications company
    • BA/BS degree or similar university education
    • Persuasive, self-motivated, and driven to succeed in a high-energy sales environment
    • Passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends
    • High Level of Technical Aptitude
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; persuasive on discovery calls.
    • Proficient with Outreach, Hubspot and/or Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo (or proven ability to quickly master them).
    • Demonstrated ability to research accounts and synthesize findings into actionable outreach.
    • Strong time management and self-motivation to meet daily/weekly KPIs.
    • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven, fast-paced environment.
