We are seeking a
Regulatory Policy Analyst at our facility in Kanata, Ontario.
JOB PURPOSE
The Regulatory Policy Analyst is responsible for the review and analysis of regulatory policy and government programs in support of environment, health and safety compliance, health regulatory compliance, commercial services and other relevant areas.
JOB STRUCTURE AND COMMUNICATIONS
Reporting directly to the Director, Nuclear Regulatory and EHS, the Regulatory Policy Analyst will work collaboratively across the various groups within the company to address various areas of content development.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop assessments for regulatory and licensing work streams.
- Develop solutions for complex logistics and regulatory management challenges.
- Collaborate with the internal digital business systems initiatives.
- Develop assessments and recommendations for various commercial business, government policy andrelations.
- Assess options for process improvement, including business process modeling.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent. Post graduate degree would be an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a regulatory environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
- Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols.
- Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve.
- Good understanding of business logistics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze data using various computational methods.
