The Shipper-Receiver is tasked with keeping workstations clean manually receiving products, inputting receipts into the receiving program, and ensuring proper labelling for inventory control.

The role also involves performing daily equipment inspections, being open to assignments in other areas, and prioritizing safety and cleanliness in the workplace You may be assigned work in other areas to accommodate production requirements.


Essential Job functions:


  • The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for keeping the workstation clean at all times.
  • Required to pick, label, stage and ship customer and warehouse orders according to established methods.
  • Will be required to perform various warehousing duties including stock rotation, storage of products by location, physical inventory.
  • Required manually receiving products into the operations and posting.
  • The receipts into the receiving program, as well as attaching all identification labels on the product for inventory and picking control.
  • Perform daily preshift inspection of material handling equipment and fill in the inspection documentation.
  • Prerequisites include the possibilities of work assigned in other areas on a needed basis, the willingness to teach/learn shipping/receiving techniques to/from others, the proven efforts to maintain work areas' cleanliness, and the ensured safety awareness/practices for self and others in the workplace.

  • Ability to work the day shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications

  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • May reach above shoulder height and below the waist
  • May lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work overtime based on operational needs
  • Must be customerfocused
  • Must be dependable
  • Previous shipping experience is an asset.
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Written and oral aptitude in English
Day shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm


Starting Rate:
$21.99 per hour
