Overview:


As a Recruiter, you will spend your time primarily working as a partner with our business to attract top talent to join our "Better Together" team at Trillium Health Partners.

We want you to bring your enthusiasm and ideas for talent management to support our recruitment initiatives and being an employer of choice in healthcare.


Accountabilities:


  • Acts as an ambassador of Trillium Health Partners and participates in events to improve our employer brand strategy;
  • Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure a solid understanding of current and future recruitment needs;
  • Partners with hiring managers to support them in attracting, sourcing, selecting and acquiring talent;
  • Manages the full recruitment cycle from posting to onboarding;
  • Participates in the interview process, creating/editing interview guides, panelist as required;
  • Works within our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS);
  • Maintains Electronic files for Recruitment;
  • Develops and delivers recruitment initiatives including but not limited to job fairs, student recruitment initiatives, etc.;
  • Liaises with hiring managers to leverage ministry funded programs to attract and retain talent;
  • Works with unionized and nonunion positions alike;
  • Works with the unique aspects of healthcare recruitment such as the Keller Award process, global shortage of talent, high skill and volume hiring;
  • Develops new and creative ideas to help improve processes and create synergies between Recruitment and other functions at THP.

Here's what you need to have:

  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or similar field, or relevant work experience;
  • Minimum three to five years of human resources experience working in a recruitment function;
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience in partnering, influencing, coaching and building credibility with managers and the human resource team;
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities;
  • Proven track record of delivering results and committed to excellence;
  • Working knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS);
  • Able to perform under changing and tight deadlines;
  • RPR, CHRL, or CHRP designation preferred;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop and deliver projects, tools and resources;
  • Knowledge of current health care issues and trends is an asset.

Location:

While this role is typically located at our Mississauga Hospital site, it is currently being conducted remotely. Travel to all THP sites may be required at different times to support our clinical staff. Flexibility in working hours may also be required occasionally to support hospital initiatives.


We offer employees, in roles that are conducive to remote work, the flexibility and the right mix of remote and in-office work (approximately 80/20).

Acknowledging that the primary works space will be remote work from home, but there will be times when onsite presence is appropriate just as there will be times when onsite presence may not be possible.


The expectation is that remote work locations, as part of the Flex First program, will be in the employee's place of residence, and adhere to all THP policies and procedures, with special consideration towards privacy.
