Working directly with our sister company, Builder Supply House, we were originally only a material supplier. We have now grown our services to include installation of our products as well as site labour management. Responsibilities:

General site clean up
Material management, delivery of materials to units
Rough carpentry skills would be an asset.
Run material hoist on an as needed basis
Operate and care for construction equipment and machines including bobcats, reach lifts, fork lifts, etc. if required
Training available
Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding, safety railings and hoarding
Follow instructions from supervisors
Assist craft workers
Ready to learn from onthejob training when necessary
Use power tools and machinery
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Other duties as required

Requirements:

Must have a valid Ontario driver's license
Access to reliable transportation
Be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma
Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Commitment to following safety rules and regulations including those related to COVID1
Supply CSA work boots, hard hats and highvisibility clothing
Must be punctual and reliable
Good handeye coordination
Communication and teamwork skills
Strong work ethic, great attitude and commitment to success
Experience as a general labourer in the construction industry is considered an asset
Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus

$17.00-$20.00 per hour
