Your day will look like this:

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Team Lead, the incumbent acts to perform the daily activities of shipping, receiving and controlling warehouse inventories as required.

The position's incumbent will also help to deliver/pick up equipment/returns/recycling & trash to Solotech's different clients or in support of ongoing installation projects where another truck/van may be required.

Warehouse:

Ensure the smooth running of receiving and dispatching to/from the warehouse;
In collaboration with the Team Leader, perform the annual inventory procedure as well as the calendar of cyclical counts, ensuring accuracy;
Participate in (RMA) material returns to suppliers;
Provide estimates for shipping of product;
Responsible for organization and management of client / supplier documentation;
Communicate all problematic situations to their supervisor and collaborate in establishing solutions;
Collaborate, build relationships with the other members of the Toronto Live Production warehouse team to ensure that we work together smoothly;
Offer their expertise and assistance to the team; help, guide and support the wider installation team in the completion of their work;
Participate in the implementation of optimal working methods;
Ensure the followup of established procedures, according to Solotech standards, by the members of their team and/or support them.

Driving:

Park the truck or the trailer at the loading and unloading dock or near the warehouse entrance;
Ensure that loading is completed safely;
Help load and unload the trucks at the clients and at Solotech's warehouse or at the city dump/recycling facility;
Perform any other related tasks required by the immediate Supervisor.

Your profile:

High School diploma
Training in transport/logistics (an asset)
2 to 3 years in a similar position;
Comfortable lifting and manipulating heavy loads;
Solid organizational and communication skills are an absolute must;
Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and learning new programs (Microsoft Dynamics);
Have a valid Ontario driver's license;
Must be available to work on a flexible, hourly schedule;
Positive attitude;
Autonomous;
Teamwork oriented and cooperative spirit;
Ability to manage different priorities;
Warehouse/inventory experience (an asset);
Knowledge of professional sound, video projection and/or lighting equipment (an asset);
Forklift license (an asset).
