Summary

Reports to:

Responsibilities, Duties & Expectations

To include, but are not limited to:

  • Repairing floors, walls and ceilings as necessary
  • Performing regular property inspections
  • Travel to and between properties, hardware/parts stores, and our main office
  • Painting
  • Minor appliance repairs (replacing heating elements, etc.)
  • Minor heating and cooling (replacing AC filters, etc.)
  • Minor Plumbing repairs (toilets, sinks, etc.)
  • Minor Electrical repairs (lighting, etc.)
  • Fixture/Appliance installation (ceiling fans, refrigerators, etc.)
  • Roof repairs
  • Landscaping
  • Snow removal
  • Garbage and recycling

Working Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work


Equipment and Tools Used


Power tools, measuring tools, & other tools: cordless drill, Sawzall, vibra saw, jigsaw, hammer, nail gun, laser level, jack hammer, concrete drill, etc.


Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Post-Secondary education in architectural technology, plumbing, electrical, or a related field is preferred.


Experience:
2+ years of prior maintenance experience preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to lift 5075 pounds.
  • Flexibility to do different types of jobs as needed.
  • Ability to juggle competing interests of time, quality and cost.
  • Ability to listen and address tenants' needs and concerns.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.68-$35.64 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
