The Bundled Care Data Administrator is a member of the orthopaedic research team which includes clinicians, nurses, research coordinator and research methodologists who applies specialized knowledge to support the collection of patient reported outcome measures (PROMS) from orthopaedic patients.

The Data Administrator is responsible to collect, validate, organize and submit data to multiple stakeholders (e.g. management teams, clinical care teams, government statistical and funding bodies, researchers, IT product developers). The Data Administrator will convert the data into a user-friendly report format to support operational and performance decision-making.

The incumbent must be able to develop and maintain standards of reporting consistent with the department's approach and contribute to ensuring that best practices for data quality and integrity are used.

Temporary Part-Time

Rate of Pay:
$27.40 per hour - $34.26 per hour

Hours of Work:
Up tp 22.5 hours per week


Duration:
Up to 6 months


Qualifications:


  • Successful completion of a College Diploma in Health Information Management, Business, Computer Systems Technology or acceptable by hospital
  • Certified Health Information Management preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of recent relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in data collection and management
  • Detailed content knowledge and proficiency with a variety of provincial and national healthcare data sets
  • Demonstrated excellence in identifying data needs to support decisionmaking and in determining appropriate data sources
  • Ability to assess data analytically for quality and consistency
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office skills
  • Coding and Microsoft SQL skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
