This position reports to the Manager, Administration & Customer Relations and requires exceptional communication skills, a high degree of attention to detail, time management, organization and problem solving abilities.
In addition this position requires the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
- Ensure customers are consistently treated with professionalism and respect
- Create and maintain schedules of field crews
- Balance the availability of human resources against incoming requests to ensure all jobs are scheduled efficiently, accurately and appropriately
- Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in priorities or deadlines
- Skillfully navigate and maximize the use of Jobber
- Manage all Nova Scotia Power bookings, permits and requests
- Complete and submit all required documentation (e.g., NSP, Efficiency NS, HRM, etc.)
- Schedule, monitor and maintain all solar and generator installations
- Register and maintain all solar and generator warranties; submit claims as needed
- Followup on outstanding quotes providing knowledgeable and excellent customer service
- Other duties as assigned

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- College diploma in office/business administration considered an asset
- Previous scheduling experience within the electrical trade considered an asset
- Experience working in a busy office of a trades business would be an asset
- Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Motivated, selfstarter
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills
- Demonstrated advanced abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technologies
- Experience utilizing technology to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information
