Description

This position reports to the Manager, Administration & Customer Relations and requires exceptional communication skills, a high degree of attention to detail, time management, organization and problem solving abilities.

In addition this position requires the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Ensure customers are consistently treated with professionalism and respect
  • Create and maintain schedules of field crews
  • Balance the availability of human resources against incoming requests to ensure all jobs are scheduled efficiently, accurately and appropriately
  • Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in priorities or deadlines
  • Skillfully navigate and maximize the use of Jobber
  • Manage all Nova Scotia Power bookings, permits and requests
  • Complete and submit all required documentation (e.g., NSP, Efficiency NS, HRM, etc.)
  • Schedule, monitor and maintain all solar and generator installations
  • Register and maintain all solar and generator warranties; submit claims as needed
  • Followup on outstanding quotes providing knowledgeable and excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • College diploma in office/business administration considered an asset
  • Previous scheduling experience within the electrical trade considered an asset
  • Experience working in a busy office of a trades business would be an asset
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Motivated, selfstarter
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritizing and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated advanced abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technologies
  • Experience utilizing technology to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information
*Personal vehicle required, as there is no public transportation access along the job route.

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

$18.00-$22.00 per hour
