Job Description:


Quality Advisor


The successful applicant for this position will play a key role with SLR's quality management team, taking on responsibility for the maintenance of SLR's quality management system in Canada, including the retention of our ISO 9001 certification, and for maintaining regional compliance with our overall global strategy, objectives, and processes.


  • Success in this role will depend on your ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively across all levels of management. We'll look to you to take on numerous quality projects across Canada, including support, training, resourcing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities


Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • External auditing
  • co-ordination, preparation and attending audits
  • Internal auditing coordination, preparation and undertaking audits (including reporting and recording actions)
  • Coordinating corrective actions
  • Review and maintenance of approved supplier processes
  • Maintenance of Quality Management intranet pages, documents, distribution lists and system tools
  • Supporting data quality compliance activities
  • Supporting operational and commercial issues related to key business systems
  • Training and awareness participate in delivering Quality Management System overview sessions

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in a related discipline
  • 1+ years in a similar Quality Administration or Coordinator role
  • Experience in consulting or professional services industry is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Competency in project support tasks with a strong interest in Quality Management
  • Ability to influence and build positive working relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers
  • Flexible, team player and selfmanager with confidence in making decisionsCountry
