The Role
We are looking for a driven Product Owner to help develop our latest Taxi solutions.

Acting as a liaison between the product management and the engineering team, you own the delivery of our TaxiBook IQ product for Taxi industry.

You contribute to the product's quality and success by writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

As a product owner, you need to ensure that the requirements are well understood by the engineering team and proactive communication is done with the product team with respect to the progress at work.

Responsibilities

Prioritize and groom the backlog for the designated TaxiBook IQ team.
Capture software requirements in the form of user stories, supplying the team with context to allow them to solve problems more effectively
Ensure acceptance criteria in user stories are clear and concise.
Assist the product team with identifying solutions that execute the business and product vision of DDS and meet business needs
Communicate the vision to the team, inspire them, and empower them to drive the process
Facilitate requirement discussions between nontechnical stakeholders and the software development team
Collaborate with intended internal users, members of the product management team and business stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on the progress of the products/projects
Adeptly handle and adjust to changing priorities.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of technology standards, industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications*- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

BA and/or PM certification and/or education an asset

- +3 years working as a Product Owner in an agile/scrum team.

Experience working in a fastpaced B2B environment and managing multiple priorities.
Experience working with the teams in different time zones.
Transportation and GPS positioning systems experience is an asset.
Excellent communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
Ability to communicate complex concepts in an easytounderstand manner to stakeholders
Ability to conduct effective presentations in front of an audience
Ability to impact operations and effect positive change
Detail oriented, selfdriven, analytical, and inquisitive.
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Highlyorganized, processoriented with strong timemanagement skills.
