We are currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative to help keep developing our business in North America.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Sales Representative with a strong mechanical background to join our team.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers throughout Canada and the United States primarily.

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites for the collection of measurements, supervising initial installation, and ongoing support.


Responsibilities:


  • Travel to customer sites, mainly in Canada and the United States, to assist with the collection of measurements, supervise installations, and provide technical support.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize outofthebox thinking to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive installation manuals and documentation for our products.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
  • Continuously update knowledge of product specifications, industry standards, and best practices to ensure effective support delivery.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of our company's relationship with them.
  • Provide reports of field sales success and communicate VOC data.
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management platform (CRM) up to date, ensuring information is shared and available.

Skills & proficiencies:


  • Proven experience in a field service or technical support role, preferably within the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Canada and the United States.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with CAD software and technical drawing interpretation is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of CRM systems and best practices. Knowledge of Zoho CRM is a plus.
This position will report to the VP of Business Development.
