    Role Summary

    The **Mechanical Field Service Technician** role entails troubleshooting and repairing pumps and equipment for various industries like oil and gas, chemical, and nuclear. This position requires a skilled mechanic to provide expert solutions to operational issues. The Technician will handle equipment repair, installation, maintenance, and performance monitoring at customer sites, ensuring peak product operation.

    This is a full-time opportunity located in **Leduc, AB**.

    Responsibilities

    • Attend in-person service calls promptly
    • Identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
    • Work alongside customers' personnel and lead work crews as needed
    • Manage repair processes from start to finish
    • Ensure successful equipment installation and startup
    • Train customers on operating and maintaining products
    • Collaborate with internal teams for efficient customer service
    • Maintain accurate and timely records
    • Perform any other assigned duties

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Red Seal Millwright Ticket
    • At least 5 years of mechanical field service experience
    • Ability to travel and work in the field extensively
    • Active driver's license with a good record
    • Experience in pump repair and installation
    • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
    • Capability to work independently
    • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using various software
    • Physical fitness for manual tasks

    Preferred Experience/Skills

    • Field Machining experience
    • Repair skills for high-end pumps, laser alignment, rigging, and seals
