Project Coordinator - Manufacturing - Peterborough, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid work arrangement available)

About the Opportunity

What will you do?

Your day to day:

Coordinating delivery of project manufacturing activities and deliverables to ensure customer commitments are met.
Work with crossfunctional teams to monitor and report on cost and schedule commitments
Initiate and lead appropriate escalations related to any project health concerns
Responsibility for planning and reporting processes related to project delivery (e.g. schedule updates, resource forecast, etc)
Communicate project status to internal WEC stakeholders
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Manufacturing operations that focus on productivity, cost improvement and/or streamlining planning and execution activities.
Some travel may be required to support customers

What will you bring?

Who you are:

Minimum 2 years of experience in coordination/execution of projects. Manufacturing and/or Nuclear industry experience is preferred.
Successful completion of a postsecondary diploma/degree in a relevant technical field
Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable leading meetings and giving presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills

Preferred:

PMP certification
P.Eng. in relevant field
Proficiency in P6 (or similar scheduling software) is a strong asset
Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP software) is a strong asset
