QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a recognized Echocardiography program.
Current registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDCS).
Two years related clinical experience working as a Echocardiographer in the past five years in a similar hospital environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform echocardiograms on patients of all ages (adult, pediatric and infant).
Demonstrated ability to perform transesophageal echocardiography at hospital sites that provide this service.
Applies knowledge, skills, judgment and competencies required for safe, independent and interdisciplinary practice by meeting professional practice standards as outlined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers and related professional associations.
Applies Niagara Health values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and service.
Integrates reflection, critical thinking, education and relevant practical experience in problem solving.
Working knowledge of computers.
Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
Consistent and regular attendance required.
Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
