The HR Administrator provides support and is involved in various aspects of HR including the following: recruitment, benefits, and training and development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruiting
- Post job openings
- Reviewing resumes
- Booking interviews
- Prescreening interviews
- Conducting reference check
- Maintaining employee files (data entry and paper filing)
- Addressing employee inquiries and maintaining records regarding vacation and timeoff
- Adminstrative support for Learning and Development activities
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment, long periods of sitting may be required
- Working in the office is required (not a work from home position)
- 40hour work week (8am to 5pm)
- Occasionally visiting employee work sites
- Occassional exposure to emotional employees and emotional issues
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Business Administration diploma majoring in Human Resources preferred or an additional 2 years of related experience
- Working towards or completion of CHRP designation or Human Resources Certificate preferred
- 12 years relevant experience
- Experience with SuccessFactors or Halogen is an asset
