Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Application Development Services, the Business Systems Analyst/Project Leader provides advising services to the College to leverage information and technology to provide quality systems and continuous improvement to business systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with various departments to solve organizational information and technology problems by determining and analysing business requirements, designing solutions and recommending business process improvement opportunities
- Determines business and system information needs and provides requirements to Application Developers
- Ensures the successful initiating, planning, execution, monitoring and control and closure of projects within cost, time, scope and quality constraints
- Provides system support to business units within the College
- Leads and participates in sprintplanning meetings
Qualifications
- Threeyear diploma or degree in Business and/or Information Technology
- Project Management and/or Business Analysis certification is an asset
- Minimum five years Business Analysis experience and/or Project Management experience
- Agile project management experience, specifically Scrum, is an asset
- Experience in postsecondary education and information technology is preferred
