Job description
DUTIES
- Assist with articles of incorporation, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions, continuance, arrangements, etc.
- Prepare and draft correspondence and resolutions
- Assist with corporate reorganizations, restructuring and mergers & acquisitions
- Prepare document books
- File documents with various securities commissions, stock exchanges and news wires
- Assist with public company filings (prepare for annual meetings and initial and secondary offerings)
- Work on multiple transactions and matters simultaneously
- Organize and maintain lawyer files
REQUIREMENTS
- Law Clerk diploma
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to manage practice of multiple lawyers
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
1-5 years' of corporate experience required
