Training, development, and growth opportunities
As a key member of the Production Control team, the Senior Production Control Leader (Sr. PC Leader) is responsible for managing the material handlers and all of the material handler responsibilities. PC Leader is also responsible for the training and development of new material handlers.
Ensure compliance of production schedules
Shipping and receiving as required on a daily basis
Head of training for Crane and Forklift
Maintain and manage inventory of all supplies
Move freight and stock to and from the loading area, delivery vehicles, storage areas and production areas either manually or with the use of other equipment such as forklifts and cranes
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing product
Operate machinery such as booms, cranes, and forklifts to handle materials and stock
Support company Health & Safety policies
High school diploma or equivalent and/or demonstrated work experience/internal training/testing
Understanding and experience with deliveries and shipments within a manufacturing environment
High understanding of floor plan/FIFO
