TC Industries of Canada Ltd. is looking for an
Automation Technician to join their team


Responsibilities

Job Duties Include:

  • AB PLC, Parker servo, Motoman robot and AB/Panasonic HMI programming, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Preventative maintenance of production and support equipment
  • Design, verification and maintenance of electrical schematics
  • Assist in setting up, maintaining programming, electrical components and schematic standards
  • Completion of all required work orders and associated documentation
  • Responsible to improve equipment reliability and uptime related to automation and controls
  • Repair and service electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic and vision systems
  • Implementation of Continuous Improvement ideas related to automation and robotics as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 710 years experience (preferred)
  • Strong problemsolving skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to interpret and design electrical schematics
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Proven commitment to health and safety
