Job Summary:

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the preparation of documentation, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, cleaning, and organizing. They must be in compliance with training in Health & Safety, Security, Quality control, ISO and SOP's.

Responsibilities:

Operate different types of manual lifting equipment such as pallet truck, carts.
Work in accordance with NECA SOP's and our customers SOP's
Unload cargo from truck trailers and various ocean containers where forklifts are not needed
Check and put away received cargo to the designated areas
Print and check shipping orders
Pick orders and prepare them for safe transport
Work on special projects and repacking operations
Load cargo into truck trailers or various ocean containers where forklifts are not needed
Work on same day shipping
Responsible for quality control
Responsible for verifying all documentation (waybills, packing lists)
Use warehousing management system and maintain accuracy of inventory
Communicate with client representatives and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, objectives and business ethics
Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements where necessary
Report any workrelated injuries or accidents to Supervisor/Manager
Maintain warehouse in a neat, orderly and efficient fashion
Various other duties as may be required

Qualifications:

Experience in general warehousing with preference to a 3PL environment
Experience with WMS, TMS, various courier shipping systems.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required to operate counterbalance, reach trucks and electric and manual pallet trucks

Education/Certifications:

High School Diploma
WHMIS Training
TGD Certificate is an asset
