  • Perform technical duties regarding water quality i.e. chlorine levels, salt levels, etc.
  • Ensure all guests meet with designated therapist within appropriate time.

  • To coordinate daily tasks required of Spa Experience team.
  • To train new spa experience team members
  • To assist the Spa Experience & Housekeeping Manager with performance reviews and progressive discipline reviews.

asks & Responsibilities:

Completing the following tasks with leadership, keeping the Spa Experience team motivated and guiding the team to a high standard of service:

  • Support the Spa Experience team with difficult guest service situations, i.e. an upset guest.
  • Ensure an equal division of daily tasks within the team.
  • Always being available for team members for questions, extra hands, etc.
  • Be aware of scheduling needs of their team.
  • Assist in addressing any performance issues with team members.
  • Assist in providing feedback and performance reviews.
  • Knowledge of the entire site:
  • Help guide guest around site.
  • Answer any questions guests may have regarding the site.
  • Assist guest in arriving at correct waiting room for massages.
  • Knowledge of all services and products offered at The Scandinave Whistler:
  • Be able to explain Bath procedures to guests.
  • Any policies of the Spa i.e. Code of Silence.
  • Be Pro-active not reactive i.e. anticipate situations rather than wait for things to go wrong.
  • Ensure and maintain cleanliness and quality of entire site:
  • Site must be impeccable at ALL times.
  • Continuous monitoring of all areas i.e. solarium, sauna, baths.
  • Picking up any towels left behind.
  • Ensure chairs are maintained in an organized fashion, in their rightful places.
  • Arranging magazines in an organized fashion.
  • Perform Technical Duties:
  • Ensure to verify all baths i.e. ensure quality of all baths, test water, temperature and maintain cleanliness.
  • Maintain sauna fire and ambiance fireplaces at all times.
  • Ensure weekly water tests are completed
  • Ensure cleanliness and order of Locker Rooms:
  • Make regular tours of locker rooms to ensure cleanliness.
  • Clean up any towels.
  • Close any shower curtains.
  • Ensure tidiness of sink areas.
  • Ensure tidiness of toilet areas.
  • Mop Shower Floors
  • Mechanical Room Duties:
  • Check and ensure the functionality of the different pumps/motors
  • Report any problems to Operations Director
  • Ensure co-ordination between guests and Massage Therapists:
  • Ensure guests have arrived at correct waiting and correct time to meet their Therapist.
  • Perform Opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist in training new team members on tasks, and procedures.
  • All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Spa Scandinave Whistler.

rerequisites:


  • Minimum 12 years of experience customer service environment
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Energetic and positive team player
  • Must have great communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to think on their feet, be proactive, problem solve, and deal with change on a daily basis
  • Must be available to work fulltime and attend functions after work on a semiregular basis
