Company:

Project Managers are the heart of the Commercial division of Atmosphere Flooring Solutions.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Division Manager, they are assigned ultimate responsibility for projects that we are awarded and are tasked with initiating, planning, executing, and closing them out.

Project Managers supervise and coach one or more Project Coordinators who assist the Project Manager in completing any day-to-day tasks required to further the progress of their projects.

Project Managers are also partnered with Site Managers who are the boots-on-the-ground extension of the Project Manager on a project.

Due to the nature of being ultimately responsible for their projects, Project Managers may need to put in overtime hours if they are not otherwise able to meet deadlines required by clients.

Qualifications:

Project Management requires a broad, well-developed skill set.

As a Project Manager you are ultimately accountable for the financial performance, adherence to schedule, and control of the scope of work for all your active projects simultaneously.

The following skills and abilities are vital to the success of a Project Manager:

Meticulous organization of information
Keen eye for reviewing fine details in other people's work
Recognizing key information in new and varying formats
Gathering information for forecasting completions and predicting roadblocks
Establishing and adhering to systematic workflows
Identification and analysis of complex problems
Adept with general computer and software usage
Financial literacy and supporting mathematics skill
Calm under pressure of demanding deadlines and difficult personalities of clients and partners
Communicating information effectively and efficiently
Management of team members tasks, workload, and performance

The only formal certification required is a valid class 5 driver's license.

The following formal certifications are an asset but not strictly required to apply:

Postsecondary education
PMP, CAPM, or similar designation

References related to previous experience with project management are also a distinguishing asset.

Compensation:

- $30-35 increasing with demonstrable skill or experience
