Job Summary:

Field Service Technicians perform a variety of tasks such as servicing, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and repair of equipment. Field Service Technician is required to travel to well site locations that are located
regionally or internationally .
Focus of this Field Service Technician will be in mechanical service .

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Material Handling

- moving material including the use of overhead cranes, Jib cranes or Forklifts.

Mechanical and/or Electrical/Electronics servicing, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and repair.
Cleaning and management of assigned tools and vehicle.
Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
24hour oncall duties required at given times.
Maintain strong business relationship with existing clients.
Communicate with a FS Manager or Supervisor regularly, on all aspects of service.
Complete reporting, job and billing paper work.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements _(Minimum Education and Experience) _**:

Knowledge and experience with oilfield equipment and service work is an asset.
Experience with schematics and blueprints.
Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written).

Valid driver's license (Class 5) and Passport

- **Alberta Industry Training

Journeyperson Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic or Electrician.**:
**Bachelor degree, Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering an asset.
