Job Purpose


We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to support the Director, Contract Management in oversight of the Master Service Agreements for: Real Property Services (RPS), Transaction Management Services (TMS) and business continuity including transition activities for Property Land and Management Services (PLMS).


The Contract Manager will build and maintain functional and collaborative relationships within IO and across all external service providers, with a focus on integrated leadership, quality management, service provider relations, contract management (communications, compliance, disputes, contract negotiations), performance management (KPIs) and continuous improvement.

This role will interact with the Senior Management team to implement and oversee alignment of goals to advance strategic priorities.

Teamwork, collaboration, strong organizational, and communication skills are essential in this role to achieve the highest level of success.

What You Will Do:


  • Oversee the activities of PLMS, RPS and TMS service providers to ensure contract compliance and highquality service delivery.
  • Responsible for leading daytoday management of all contract management and governance tasks including governance meeting series (integrated leadership, joint delivery workstreams, service provider alignment committee), Quality Management System, contract amendments, contract modernization and innovation items, Change Management, Formal Communications (Direction Notices, PINS), Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Contract Strength Assessment.
  • Lead, or participate as assigned, PLMS/RPS/TMS Work stream teams contributing to process development, achievement of annual deliverables and continuous improvement initiatives, aligned goals, reporting, etc.
  • Lead, monitor and participate in the scoring of all PLMS, RPS and TMS Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), managing performance issues and collaborate with peers on corrective solutions. Collaborate to provide integrated leadership updates and escalations.
  • Lead internal audit and quality audit reviews, required to support MSA requirements as assigned by the Director, Contract Management, or collaborate and coordinate with internal business units conducting the same.
  • Work with external Service Providers and regional peers to optimize the value of assets through the analysis of property efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
  • Identify and report trends regarding performance levels, expenditures, and project schedules. Identify reoccurring challenges and recommend a plan of action to address them.
  • Support the initiatives and needs of other business units in relation to oversight of the outsourced service contracts with PLMS, RPS and TMS, including coordination with the Project Management Service Provider (PMSP) oversight team where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with all business units overseeing the service providers to provide MSA clarifications as required.

  • Results driven leader, motivated by a sense of performance excellence and urgency.
  • Possess solid experience in contract management and outsource governance on a comprehensive portfolio of buildings.
  • Have an understanding of facility operations as a business, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations and general administration and reporting.
  • Advanced organization and project management skills with a focused attitude, and solid interpersonal skills
  • Sound stakeholder management skills and experience finding solutions with diverse teams.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills combined with sound verbal and written communications skills.
  • Understanding / experience with coordination of legal matters is also considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and working with documents in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Bachelor's Degree or college diploma in Business Administration or Commerce with a concentration in real estate or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Certification in property management or any other applicable designations are also required.
