Pacific Academy is looking for a temporary, part-time (0.50 FTE) Payroll Administrator.

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll and reports to the Director of Finance.

This position will start in April 2023 and end in June 2024.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversight and preparation/administration of payroll on a semi-monthly basis
  • Payroll reporting
  • Administration of benefits and pension
  • Preparation of internal and external reporting requirements

Qualifications:


  • Actively and personally support the Pacific Academy Statement of Faith
  • Have relevant payroll work experience. Experience with Payworks or similar online payroll program is an asset
  • Have PCP certification or willingness to seek certification
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have experience in Excel, MS Word, and Adobe products
  • Be detail orientated, professional and discreet
  • Be a creative thinker
  • Have strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with a desire to serve
