Role Type:
Contract (approx. 24 months)
Location:
Hybrid role, requiring partial work in Guelph (in office) and partial remote work
Hours of Work:
Full Time - Monday to Friday, days; Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support fundraising or community engagement

About the Role:
The Annual Fundraising Specialist will have the chance to:

Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Execute an annual fundraising strategy in collaboration with the STC leadership team to achieve annual fundraising goals
- Manage a portfolio of current and potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies, with an emphasis on donor retention and relationship building
- Coordinate and execute annual fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives, utilizing both online and offline channels
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create and distribute compelling fundraising materials, promoting STC's mission and impact
- Maintain accurate records of donor communications, financial transactions, and reporting requirements using CRM software
- Support grant research and proposal writing as needed
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of fundraising volunteers
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices in annual fundraising to ensure STC remains competitive
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing
