Position Description:


Health Information Management (HIM), in support of Project Horizon, has embarked on a journey to help digitize current paper holding at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).

The Record Management Clerk will perform a variety of clerical duties within the HIM department to support this digital transformation also known as Paper-Lite.


Here's What You'll Get to Do

  • Prepare and Scan patient records into ChartMaxx
  • Verify and upload patient records while maintaining quality assurance on the images scanned
  • Coordinates the thorough management of health information according to established guidelines for patient records
  • Other Health Information Management duties as required

Here's What You'll Need

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Min. of two years previous records management experience
  • Experience in a healthcare environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to be selfdirected, organized, and flexible
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Positive outlook and great team player
  • Ability to show good judgment

Employment Type:
Full Time 1 year CONTRACT
