Description
We are seeking a Total Rewards Specialist to join our team in Winnipeg or Toronto.Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the Total Rewards Specialist will be responsible for managing compensation, performance management, benefits programs and HRIS.
This role will act as the company-wide lead for compensation and benefits, conducting market research, monitoring trends and pro-actively identifying and addressing issues in the business.
The Total Rewards Specialist will:
- Key resource in the delivery of total rewards programs including annual merit and incentive plan, job evaluation, benefits, and other rewards.
- Conduct research, evaluation and analyze internal and external market survey data, in addition to analyzing market trends and making recommendations.
- Conducts analysis and research to ensure compliance with pay equity legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the endtoend annual performance management and compensation process.
- Generate letters for merit, Short-Term and Long-Term incentive pay.
- Develop benefits orientation and other informational materials.
- Disseminate and promote People Corporation benefits programs.
- Complete benefit reconciliation.
- Participate in audit processes and support recommendations.
- Oversee the execution of and provide input into the HR Technology plan.
- Deliver HRIS technology systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Implement and govern standards and controls across HRIS technology systems to achieve data quality and consistency.
- Supports the job evaluation process including development of job descriptions.
- Performs other duties as assigned
To be successful
as a Total Rewards Specialist
with People Corporation, you will need:
- Minimum 3 years in Total Rewards and compensation specifically.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of HRIS, compensation, benefits, pension, job analysis, administration of merit and variable pay programs, pay equity legislation and plans.
- Experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Completion or working towards attaining either CCP, CEBS or CHRL designation.
- French language fluency is preferred.
