Duties
:

Under the supervision of the Manager, Continuing Education and Training Services, the incumbent provides customer service and support to the campus Learning Resource Centre, Library, and Bookstore.

The incumbent supports the academic activities of students and faculty in order to facilitate the teaching and learning process.

The incumbent provides support services to the Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS) Program and provides service to our customers including students, staff and community members.

They also provide back-up support to other areas of the campus.
Qualifications**- Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Computer Applications, Business, Customer Service or related field

  • Minimum 3 years' experience gained working as part of a team in an academic serviceoriented environment using a variety of computer software programs
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Familiarity with technology
  • Demonstrated capacity to learn and adapt quickly
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
