-
General Labourers to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity. The position involves supporting the production operations through moving, storing and managing materials within a high paced atmosphere. We are looking for positive, energetic people who want to work in a team environment

This position operates on a weekly rotation of days (7am3pm) and afternoons (3pm11pm) shift basis and is eligible for shift premium._
Applicants who receive an employment offer will be required to provide proof of full vaccination upon hire as a condition of employment._

Responsibilities

Interpret Daily Production Schedule for raw material / print matter allocation
Allocate materials using FIFO principles
Stage materials at the appropriate resource (right part/right time)
Reintroduction of Workinprocess material
Ensure accurate shop floor reporting
Batch Assignment of stampers to Production Process Orders
Assist in wrapping all finished product and store in designated areas
Replenish vinyl compound components to designated racking and hopper staging area
Properly store all material within the specified locations
General housekeeping
Other duties as assigned by Team Leader

Physical Demands

Required to stand for long periods of time
Fast paced environment
Involves repetitive motions
Must be able to carry, push, pull or lift up to 50lbs consistently
Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
Use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment
Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels

Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Use of proper PPE while performing functions, CSA steel toed safety boots are mandatory
Must be willing to work all shifts & to work overtime as business needs require
Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
Excellent electronic, verbal and written communication skills
Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities in a team environment
Knowledge of inventory control methods considered an asset
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset

Weekly rotation of days and afternoons

Days: 7am-3pm

Afternoons: 3pm-11pm
