Position Overview:
- Under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient Food Services or Designate, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St.
ensuring a high quality of service and accuracy through efficient operation and planning of work; supervision of Patient Food Services employees and area; procurement of specific patient and office related products; participation in hiring, training and conducting of contribution assessment reviews; scheduling and payroll functions; participation in quality management programs and performing other related duties and responsibilities as required.
Experience:
- Two (2) years experience within the last four (4) years working directly in Food Services is an asset
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):
- Grade XII or recognized equivalent
- Successful completion of an approved Food Services Supervisor's course or equivalent
Certification/Licensure/Registration:
- Not Applicable
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Food Handler Training Certificate required
- Experience with CBORD Diet Office Management software system is an asset
- Membership with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management is preferred
- Ability to supervise and direct in a team environment
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organizational skills
- Mature, professional manner
