The HR Coordinator is the primary for:

  • Manage and support recruitment, onboarding, performance and termination procedures
  • Manage recruitment for all departments
  • Support managers in performance related issues
  • Handle termination related matters
  • Develop, review or improve company policies and procedures
  • Be well versed in laws and regulations regarding hiring and firing
  • Manage and support annual performance evaluations and other employee evaluations
  • Support Operations Manager/HR scheduling and timecard approvals.
  • Scheduling and timecard approval as needed when other managers away
  • Answering questions from employees and recording complaints
  • Support leadership team in various projects

Reporting to the Operations Manager/HR for guidelines and support.

HR Coordinator skills and qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the hiring process
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to problemsolve and decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Good typing and data entry skills
  • Knowledge about conflict management
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws
  • Ability to keep track of a variety of details
  • Familiarity with HR software, social media and the internet
  • Payroll experience not necessary but would be an asset
  • 612 months of HR or equivalent administrative/assistant working experience
  • Diploma, Certificate or Degree in Human Resources, Management or equivalent
