    Responsibilities
    In this Payroll Specialist position located in Richmond Hill, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Manage endtoend payroll processing for employees across multiple provinces, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, provincial, and local regulations.
    • Process payroll data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions accurately and timely.
    • Calculate and process statutory deductions, benefits, and other payrollrelated payments, such as garnishments and taxable benefits.
    • Reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, vacation accruals, and overtime, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Generate and distribute payroll reports, including payroll registers, earnings statements, and tax filings, as required by management and regulatory authorities.
    • Address payrollrelated inquiries from employees regarding pay, deductions, and benefits, providing timely and accurate responses.
    • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payrollrelated transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger and reconciled monthly.
    • Stay uptodate with changes in payroll legislation and regulations in all applicable provinces and ensure compliance in payroll processing.
    • Assist with yearend payroll processes, including preparing T4s, reconciling payroll tax filings, and issuing annual statements.
    • Utilize UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software to manage and streamline payroll processes efficiently.
    Qualifications
    In this Payroll Specialist position located in Richmond Hill, we are looking for:

    • PCP designation is an asset.
    • Minimum 3 years of multiprovincial Canadian payroll experience is required.
    • Experience with UKG/ Ultipro is a must.
    • Experience processing unionized payroll is a strong asset.
