    About This Opportunity

    Located in the rapidly growing Larry Uteck area of Bedford, this clinic is currently home to four family physicians, with room for more. This is a very friendly and collegial working environment, where physicians interact regularly and provide support to one another. This clinic serves a good mix of patients from cradle to grave. Here are some highlights about this clinic:

    • Co-located with a Lawtons Pharmacy
    • Opportunity for procedures
    • MedAccess EMR
    • Walk in opportunities
    • Excellent Medical Office Administrators who support billings
    • Although this clinic would love to have a full time physician, part-time interest is welcome

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention

    Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners'

    Act as a patient's advocate

    Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations

    Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirements

    Expected Hours

    Qualifications

    Eligible for Licensure with the (CPSNS)

    Eligible for certification with the (CFPC)

    (CMPA)
