As the Technical Consultant you will be accountable for the availability, stability, integrity and efficiency of highly complex technology deployments across several technical platforms and environments.

With a focus on EBM platform operation, the incumbent will ensure that technical services in that area are provided to clients to meet both the current and future business needs, and that defined service levels for performance and availability are being met.

This includes research, design, procurement, implementation, complex incident response, project consulting, and ongoing maintenance to provide technical leadership and guidance to others.


How you will create impact:


  • Act as a central point of contact for complex and critical platform operational issues and be responsible for the proactive management of complex technical problems from an operational perspective.
  • Determine root cause of issues, analyzing system statistics, behaviours or incidents to identify trends and then implementing procedural and or technical changes to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate and manage complex technical incident and problem resolution within various production and test environments by conducting research, investigation, and diagnosing and recommending solutions.
  • Ensure technical environment is stable and working at the optimum level by providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of complex technologies, both internal and outsourced.
  • Develop and establish operational processes and procedures to monitor and control various production and test environments.
  • Manage and evaluate ongoing system performance, reporting results to management.
  • Ensure system configuration and data backups/restores are performed to ensure recovery from error or outage, that BRP documentation is developed and maintained and current knowledge of plan executables is maintained in order to respond to emergencies in accordance with BRP.

To join our team:


  • You have seven years of technical experience in progressively complex technical environments.
  • You have a degree in Information Technology, or in Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
