    Description


    Our government client in Regina, SK is looking for several Senior Financial Specialist resources for a 8+ mth contract,reference #SS-017.

    This position can be 100% remote anywhere in CanadaThings You Need to Have:

    • University Graduate in Business Administration or Commerce with an Accounting Major
    • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) is considered a strong assetWhat you will be doing:Our clients project is an integrated business information system to better manage finance, human resources, andsupply chain management processes. The new business administration system will replace 82 non-integrated systemswith a single software solution.
    The project is currently looking for several Senior Finance Specialists.

    The individuals will be assigned tasks andresponsibilities including, but not limited to:

    • Converting all fixed assets modules in former regional authorities to be compatible for upload
    • Calculation of change in amortization based on Tangible Capital Assets Policy implementation
    • Manually entering approximately 5,000 lines into Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
    • Manually entering the approved Capital Budgets into EPM (or directly into Project FinancialManagement) which consists of approximately 700 lines.
    • Reconciliations of converted information
    • Data Entry
    • Problem Solving
    • Accounting Knowledge
    • High Excel Skills
    • No travel is expected.
