Description

Respite caregivers may help will daily skills, personal care and hygiene, health and safety, cooking, recreation, socialization, community awareness and access among other related areas of support.

Respite Care Provider

Requirements:

Have a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check done for all adults (18+) in your home.
Have valid First Aid/CPR
Have or willing to get and maintain 1 million liability insurance on vehicle and home.
Have a spare bed in a room for the individual you will be supporting. To provide 24hour supervision and care.
Available weekends and occasionally during the week to provide respite, with some flexibility to meet the needs of the client and proprietor.

Respite rate of pay $175/ night. Paid out monthly
Additionally Proprietors provide $20/ day Room & board (on the dates of respite)
