Job description of Production Line Operator

Urgently hiring

Experience:

Follow and practice all GMP's, HACCP and SQF protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area
Ensures all equipment is operating properly, takes appropriate actions to correct any issues.
Monitors and documents downtime, quality, safety, and other issues in a timely manner.
When needed, performs machine operator, labeling, packaging, and general labour tasks on the production line.
Leads team members to meet targets and goals on product attainment; ensures all equipment runs at required speed per standards.
Ensures product is being produced to required quality specifications, SQF and other food safety standards.
Leads and contributes to the team and the whole facility in a positive way.

REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITY & EXPERIENCE

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to direct the work of others while maintaining composure in a fastpaced environment
1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills, able to speak and read English
Able to perform all tasks within the department including lifting to 30 or 40 lbs
Able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
Able to work weekends as required.
Can work well in a team environment and support fellow team members

Availability:
Should be flexible and remain available for any shifts including weekdays as well as weekends

From $16.50 per hour
