    Description

    Your Opportunity:

    Working under the general direction of the area supervisor, the Reception Clerk performs reception and other clerical duties for the Diagnostic Imaging department located at the Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center. The individual will be required to assist with obtaining and maintaining all records associated with appointments and will work closely with other areas within the Diagnostic Imaging department.

    Description:

    As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

    Required Qualifications:

    Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

    Additional Required Qualifications:

    Medical Terminology Course required.Recognized Business/Clerical course desired.Accurate and proficient keyboarding skills – must be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm.Absolute attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral.Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive, and tactful. Demonstrated ability to work independently.Skilled at paying close attention to detail.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Able to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions.Must be able to work all shifts based on operational needs.Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience preferred. Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience preferred.Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking, reception, and clerical duties preferred.Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email).Must be able to utilize dual monitors. Must be able to lift a minimum of 10lbs. May assist healthcare providers with lifting or transferring of patients.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    DI Front Desk and Registration Basics Connect Care Experience. Pervious Diagnostic Imaging Experience.It's your move training.
