Award scholarships at all academic levels, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria. Offer consultation services to the university community and external clients regarding available scholarships at all academic levels.

    Advise students, parents, school stakeholders and the general public in person, by e-mail or by telephone, on available funding options to enable them to obtain optimal financial support.

    Collaborate on various scholarship programs in terms of planning, developing, drafting, evaluating and updating control procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and methods on eligibility and renewal of scholarships offered by the University or external organizations.

    Advise selection committee members on the amount and number of scholarships to be awarded, ensuring compliance with the terms of reference in order to optimize the use of available funds.

    Evaluate student applications by analyzing their academic record, curriculum vitae and other supporting documents, and determine their eligibility in relation to the terms of reference dictated by the donors.

    Scholarship Application Management

    Manage student and prospective student bursary applications for all academic cycles and ensure distribution to faculties, departments and bursary committees.

    Manage the awarding of scholarships by following up with selection committees, faculties, admissions and departments to ensure that payments are made to student accounts within the deadlines set out in the terms of reference.

    Coordinate selection committee meetings to evaluate scholarship applicants and confirm recipients.

    Ensure that the various databases containing the terms of reference for all scholarships are kept up to date, so that applicants have the right information in relation to eligibility criteria and are not misled.

    Ensure the entry and integrity verification of file data in the scholarship management system in order to authorize scholarship payments to recipients.

    Account for grants awarded to identify any anomalies in forecast expenditure.
    Follow-up on information sent to scholarship recipients in preparation for graduation ceremonies.
    As required, participates and/or contributes to special projects or initiatives of Student Workforce Management and its sector. A minimum of 2 years experience in file analysis, interpretation and explanation of complex regulations and procedures.
