The Global Lead Development team for the public sector continues to expand As a Lead Development Representative (LDR), you are an important member of the sales organization, playing a key role in qualifying leads, profiling customers and providing information on sales campaigns that generate the most promising leads.


Working with your international counterparts, the marketing team, account managers and the partner network, the aim is to identify and create qualified opportunities for Canada Public Sector.

Key job responsibilities


Responsibilities:


  • Manage incoming leads in a timely manner within a wider geographical area
  • Conducting discussions with potential and existing customers by telephone, to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Understand customer issues, gather technical requirements and correlate operational value to customer needs
  • Engage potential customers and provide them with a vision of the AWS solution portfolio
  • Understand existing and developing cloudrelated technologies
  • Meet monthly qualification targets
  • Provide account management team with detailed call notes to ensure opportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined
Present a high-level technical solution to a variety of audiences, including colleagues, potential customers and AWS customers, relevant to the sector or target market
