Education

Graduation with a degree from a recognized postsecondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.

Degree equivalency

Occupational Certification

Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.

Experience

Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners or stakeholders.
Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit, and/or Métis
Experience in providing advice to senior management
Experience in the management and allocation of human, financial and material resources

Graduation with a master's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position

Degree equivalency

Recent and significant experience in human resources management and planning.
Recent and significant experience in managing budgets and forecasting procedures.

(*Recent and significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with full time performance of duties for a minimum period of 2 consecutive years within the last 5 years)

Willingness to be oncall
Willingness to travel as per the demands of the job to communities in remote and urban areas using a variety of modes of transportation, such as, small aircraft, snowmobiles, cars, allterrain vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
Willingness and ability to complete mandatory education/training relevant to the position
