Education
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized postsecondary institution with an acceptable specialization in nursing, nursing service administration, nursing education or some other specialty relevant to the position.
Occupational Certification
- Eligibility for registration as a registered nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners or stakeholders.
- Experience working effectively with First Nations, Inuit, and/or Métis
- Experience in providing advice to senior management
- Experience in the management and allocation of human, financial and material resources
Degree equivalency
- Recent and significant experience in human resources management and planning.
- Recent and significant experience in managing budgets and forecasting procedures.

Conditions of employment:
Reliability Status security clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work OT on no or short notice
- Willingness to be oncall
- Willingness to travel as per the demands of the job to communities in remote and urban areas using a variety of modes of transportation, such as, small aircraft, snowmobiles, cars, allterrain vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
- Willingness and ability to complete mandatory education/training relevant to the position
