Description

The Equipment Services Vendor Manager will manage activities related to vendor management, equipment procurement, inventory control, invoice reconciliation, planning and quality control of equipment and supplies.

The manager will ensure internal and external stakeholders receive ongoing support for the varying Point of Sale (POS) terminal solutions.

This position requires managing, defining and delivering a consistent market-competitive POS support model for North America.


Equipment Services Vendor Manager must have exceptional skills in attention to details, communication skills, process and procedural development, auditing skills, SharePoint development and the ability to build a high functioning team with mínimal errors and high demand.

Manager will own key processes around business results, financial results, client experience and controls.

For each process the Manager will determine and build out procedures, tracking measurement, reporting and analyze these measurements to provide meaningful feedback to the business.

Roles and Responsibilities

Business Owner and Delivery Manager for Equipment Deployment and Telecom Vendors


Monitor day-to-day business results for the Team: Financial results, customer experience, operational metrics, and control environment
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Support, Products Marketing, Finance and Operations) to improve operational efficiencies and partners' experience
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers and executive contacts
Identify emerging trends, determine their validity, and propose solutions when appropriate
Create, organize and host presentations for internal and external audiences of current and future products and solutions
Responsibility for coordinating and facilitating delivery of project objectives, tracking progress and review of project tasks to make deadlines, and manage implementation of project lifecycle
Develop and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
Drive constant enhancement on customer experience through increasing customer satisfaction, reducing backlogs and improving responsiveness
Conduct ad hoc analysis to ensure proper oversight and governance
Enhanced industry knowledge to know what drives the industry and the business cycle; products and services, customer expectations, competitors, market trends, future opportunities and pitfalls
Manage the process of key injection in POS hardware. Monitor and validate testing for new and existing merchants including ordering of EMV and Contactless test cards including VAR testing kits
Create, manage, analyze and maintain various reports for billing and reporting

Manage merchant updates in the vendor system of record, monitor unrecoverable / undeliverable shipments for efficient asset management to reduce equipment write offs of stolen and lost hardware.

Responsible for analyzing invoices to ensure correct billing. Tracks equipment shipment, delivery, billing and backlog activities. Responds to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolves customer and or dealer order difficulties.

Communicates with internal and external customers to coordinate the configuration, testing, and Quality Assurance of payment terminals, systems and associated devices.

Keep daily records/logs/reports for all activities

Ensure adherence to SLAs for various products (including products not supported by Merchant Services) from our Vendor as per contract.

Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participate in driving resolution of mitigating controls
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and equipment control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures and implement solutions.
Coordinates the negotiation and fulfillment of the Equipment Services contracts. Interprets contracts, organizes, or processes correspondence with contracting parties and monitors fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Guarantee all documentation to support legal and/or outsourced processes are within JPMC policies

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and influence at the executive level.
Highly organized, self-starter, demonstrates creativity, resourcefulness and shows strong leadership
Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize and drive initiatives to completion
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and time management skills
Strong and effective skills in problem solving, analytical reasoning and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential
Expertise in the ability to collate, report and reconcile large data sets
