We are looking for a Care Coordinator to join our team
Kindred Home Care provides short and long term home support services, and respite care to individuals and families.
We specialize in the areas of personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, medication reminders, end of life care and home management.

As a Care Coordinator you will play a crucial role in building and fulfilling schedules in the Charlotte County area. You will be responsible for providing excellent client and caregiver matches which in turn supports fulfillment and consistency of care. You will work remotely from home as part of the broader team supporting Zone 2 (Saint John, Kings, Charlotte County).
Role Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain schedules for the Charlotte County Area
- Communicate schedule changes or challenges effectively to our clients & caregivers
- Establish genuine connections with your team (clients, funders, and caregivers)
- Provide insight and support to caregivers on a daily basis
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new caregivers
- Support client home assessments in your local community on a weekly basis
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience with scheduling and/or the care industry is considered an asset
- Experience with Salesforce would be considered an asset
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational and problem solving skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively over the telephone
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to be emphatic and tactful
- Ability to work from home with mínimal supervision
- Positive, flexible and Reliable
- Must have reliable transportation to support weekly community assessments
- Must be comfortable working with technology and have reliable internet access
- Must live in the greater Charlotte County Area
Hours:
A standard day of work is 7:30am-4:30 pm with an hour lunch.
This role provides support for our 24/7 operations and will share the responsibility of weekend and Holiday coverage through on-call support.
